Oliver Tambo: 100th anniversary of his birth

Oliver Reginald Tambo (27 October 1917 - 24 April 1993) died from a stroke in the early morning hours of 24 April 1993 in Johannesburg, after having recovered from the first one he had suffered in 1989. Tambo, Nelson Mandela and Walter Sisulu, were founder members of the ANC Youth League (ANCYL) in 1944. He went into exile after receiving a banning order in 1959 and returned to South Africa on 13/12/1990.
